Sometimes things just don’t go the way we want them to, and sometimes multiple things don’t go the way we want them to and it seems like we experience trouble upon trouble. I’ve recently had one of those times. Earlier this month, I ruined my 42-year streak of not having surgery. It wasn’t a major surgery, but there’s a lengthy recovery period that comes with some cumbersome restrictions.
