TRACY — Pipestone Area Schools freshman Josie Danks raced in with a time of 22:13.87 for 17th place at the Panther Invitational last Thursday at Tracy Country Club. PAS head cross country coach Mark Moeller was pleased with Danks’ performance. “Every course’s distance is measured a little differently,” Moeller said. “She was more than one minute faster (than any of her times) last year. It was a surprise.” Varsity runners traveled 5,000 meters.
