The Pipestone City Council during their Dec. 20 meeting held a public hearing concerning the 2022 proposed street and utility improvement projects. Around 10 people from the general public attended the meeting. City Administrator Jeff Jones said that the council had decided earlier in the year to proceed with the preparation of possible projects for the upcoming year earlier than normal in order to accommodate getting bids out and getting documents more quickly in the spring and getting projects started sooner.
