TO THE EDITOR: I attended last evening’s community forum regarding the library agreement. I attended to understand what the issues are that has led to the school terminating the current agreement at the end of 2022 and to understand the school’s position. The school stated that it needed to have supervision over all staff on their property for liability reasons. That rings false to me given that we contract food services from Taher and all employees who work in food service are employees of Taher, not Pipestone Area Schools.
