Pipestone Building and Zoning Official Doug Fortune has been granted a conditional use permit to convert his Victorian home at 304 Third Ave. SE into a bed and breakfast. The Pipestone City Council approved the permit during its April 18 meeting following the recommendation the Pipestone Planning Commission made during its April 13 meeting. Fortune said during the public hearing held during the planning commission meeting that he plans to have one unit in the attic, two on the second floor and one in the basement.
