Pipestone’s Paulsen Field played host to 10 teams Saturday, April 23 for the annual Pipestone Invitational Track & Field meet. Although the sun was out for much of the day’s events, the winds were unfavorable with average wind speeds coming in at 25-35 and gusts much higher. This caused for the pole vault and high jump competitions to be eliminated and made for some tough runs and throwing conditions. Regardless, the event went on and the Arrows enjoyed an opportunity to compete. In the final team standings Luverne topped the girl’s standings and Southwest Christian/Edgerton (SWMCH-EHS) won the boy’s meet....
