A second candidate filing period for local government candidates in the 2022 election opens Tuesday, Aug. 2 and closes two weeks later on Tuesday, Aug. 16. The second filing period applies to all cities in Pipestone County except Pipestone, all school districts, and townships that hold their elections in November.
