The lack of respect for parents and educators involved in the new social studies standards for our South Dakota students is nothing but absurd. At a recent hearing in Aberdeen, more than 85% of those addressing the content and process were opposed to what our current governor is proposing to force on our young people through an out-of-state political consultant.
