SIOUX FALL - South Dakota Scholastic held their State Chess championship in Sioux Falls Saturday at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, described as the largest chess competition in the last 20 years, St. Francis high school took the team title in the high school division, Little Wound finished in second place. Steve Bordeaux was the Warriors top finisher, placing fifth; the championship team included Gabriel Geoffrey Gatilogo, Wahokiza Xavior Broken Rope and Darrian Darnell McKinney.
