MARTIN – A new kind of business is coming to Martin and will open in February. Recently, Ivan and Stephanie Sorbel bought out Chet’s Place, located on the north side of Martin on old highway 18. Chet’s Place was a pawn shop and storage unit facility, owned by Chester Christensen for nearly 37 years. Ivan Sorbel, executive director of Pine Ridge Area Chamber of Commerce and Stephanie, long time employee of Oglala Lakota College.
