Here at Wingsprings, the home of CAIRNS, the rabbits have been busy reproducing this spring and early summer. There have been at least four “batches” of babies so far, ranging in size from cute little baby fur-balls to skittish slightly older ones and their earliest born cousins who are now almost adult size. We like to remind ourselves that the mashtinchalas were here before we were and will be here long after we are gone. This is their home. We do not give them feed or water or shelter, though materials from the ongoing construction projects do offer them cover...
