The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for northeastern Pettis County, south central Saline County and southwestern Cooper County until 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 5. According to information from NWS, at 7:10 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 8 miles east of Houstonia, or 12 miles north of Sedalia, moving east at 40 mph.  Locations impacted include Boonville, Pilot Grove, Bunceton, Hughesville, Blackwater, Lamine and Clifton City.
