A Versailles man was sentenced in federal court this week for illegally possessing methamphetamine and a firearm. According to information from the Western District of Missouri U.S. Attorney’s Office, 37-year-old Nathanael Owen Davis was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Roseann Ketchmark to 180 months in federal prison without parole. On Nov. 18, 2021, Davis pleaded guilty to one count of possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and one count of possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.
