SMITHTON — Smithton's Introduction to Literature juniors and seniors came together during the school year to write a short novel that was published this month.  English teacher Elizabeth Carver said that in the fall semester, she has her students do some creative writing. One of the projects they wanted to do was a short story based on a different one they had already done.  Once Carver received those stories back, she knew the six students were strong writers and wanted to do something more with them.
