On May 18, state Rep. Tim Taylor, R-Bunceton, visited Smithton School to present the Glory of Missouri Awards to middle school students. The Glory of Missouri Awards is a courtesy resolution awarded by the Missouri House of Representatives. The award is signed by the student’s state representative and personalized with each student’s name and the accompanying virtue defined within the context of the Glory of Missouri.
