Sedalia’s Brenton Ryan will make his opera debut in Germany and London this year. He credits his Smith-Cotton High School German teacher for his knowledge of the German language.  Ryan told the Democrat by email that he would debut at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Germany.
