Pettis County is now six weeks away from the Aug. 2 primary election, which means today, June 21, is the beginning of absentee voting.  The Pettis County Clerk’s office will mail out almost 600 absentee ballots but that number can increase as they receive additional applications.  Before Aug. 2, the Clerk’s office will be mailing out sample ballots to everyone registered to vote along with a photo and the address of the Courthouse Annex, 215 E.
