PENNY DAUGHERTY is a Gynecologic Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) at Northside Hospital Cancer Institute in Atlanta, GA and also works with Head and Neck patients needing ONN services. She served as Clinical Research Director of Southeastern Gynecologic Oncology for 10 years and participated in the National ONS team to create Core Competencies for Clinical Trial Nurses.

A founding member of Cancer Patient Navigators of Georgia (2009), Co-Chair of the annual CPNG conference since 2015 and currently serves as Co-Chair of the AONN+ Conference Planning Committee, she co-edited the first 2 comprehensive textbooks on Oncology Nurse Navigators.
