Aug. 25, 2023 By Gary Girard, DelanoNow columnist         Unless write-ins won elections, leaders of Delano’s Historical Society are in place for the 2023-2024 year. Those who accept positions in the Society do what most of us want to see done but do not want to or cannot accept the commitment of time. Up for election were Colton Kinsey, president; Jim Sevier, vice-president; Steve Kinsey, secretary; and Ginda Adkins, treasurer.    Those receiving ballots were requested to vote for four directors, but with only two names on the ballot, it was questionable whether write-ins would fill two voids.   Nominees for director were...
