George Kenneth Johnson, 86 of Grand Marais, Minnesota, died peacefully on September 9, 2022. George grew up in Hovland, Minnesota where he attended grade school until grade 6 and graduated high school in Grand Marais, Minnesota. George loved trapping, fishing, hunting, carving diamond willow walking sticks and spending time with his family. He worked construction most of his life and one of his many great projects was building stairways and handicap accessible walkways at the parks from Gooseberry to High Fall up the North Shore. George loved his family most of all and is preceded in death by his parents...
