Local businesses, individual donors and a family foundation graciously turned out enabling this virtual Empty Bowls to meet its fundraising goal of ,000. Empty Bowls Cook County is a non-profit 501 c (3) business working to fight food insecurity. This is a volunteer organization with all proceeds, after some minimal costs, going back into the community.
