In the last week of "voluntary" OTAs for 2022, the Washington Commanders almost made it through without any controversy. However, on the last day, Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio made waves by defending a tweet from a few days earlier when he questioned why the country was going through hearings on the Jan 6th insurrection and not focusing on the riots after the George Floyd murder. In a press conference immediately following practice, Del Rio doubled down and called the Jan 6th even a "dust up at the Capitol"
