  • The Skill MechanicSkill trees and skills in RPGs, how do we feel about it

What makes a good skills and skill tree system?

What makes a poor skills and skill tree system?

Great examples of skills and skill trees in RPGs

Poor examples of skills and skill trees in RPGs

Final thoughtsGingy_37 - Definitely not a fan of complex skill trees. I don’t want to feel like I’m learning calculus and geometry when using a skill tree. My fav skill tree is in Ori and the Blind Forest. Nice and simple yet felt rewarding when you unlocked a skill.what game’s skill tree did you start off hating but towards the end of the game you ended up liking it?
