Since returning from its August recess, Congress has been taking up its time with passing an appropriations package and deflecting a government shutdown.   While progress in the appropriations arena is happening, it still means the 2018 Farm Bill will likely see an extension to it before being fully addressed later in 2023 or even into early 2024.
