Marie Comiskey is a senior lawyer with Public Prosecution Service of Canada. She is a Fulbright scholar, and holds her Master of Laws Degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, and holds a research doctorate in jury instructions from the University of Michgan Law School. She is also a visiting fellow at the Centre of Criminology, University of Toronto.

Marie has authored numerous publications related to issues surrounding juries and juror comprehension, and has conducted her own jury simulation experiment, examining the comprehensibility of model instructions and the use of jury aids. The findings of her research will be released in an upcoming publication from Oxford.
