Tamara Levy, Q.C. has her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, and she has practiced law for many years including experience as crown counsel. 

She is the co-founder and director of the University of British Columbia’s Innocence Project, an organization that is connected to UBC’s Allard School of Law, where they seek to exonerate the wrongfully convicted, and right miscarriages of justice. 

Tamara is also a co-founder of the Criminal Defence Advocacy Society, a network of lawyers that seeks to reform Canada’s criminal Justice System and to mentor young and upcoming lawyers. 

Tamara is an educator, mentor, and advocate for criminal justice reform. Her contributions to BC’s legal community was recognized in 2017 when she was awarded her Queen’s Counsel Designation in BC.
