Author, Tarot Card Reader, and Breathwork Facilitator Leah Vanderveldt takes us on a journey of pivoting and connecting deeply to inner wisdom. She talks about the book writing process, how she flowed into writing 4 books that directly reflect where she was at in life at the time, and about the life pivots that came immediately after each book was written.
Leah takes us into the Tarot and breaks down what is actually going on when we pull a card. She talks about believing in magic and how ultimately when we believe in magic, we’re believing in ourselves.
She identifies as a witch and she teaches us how to connect to and activate the witch within with simple daily rituals and intention. She also talks about the cathartic and moving experience she had when taking her first breathwork class, and how she believes so deeply of the importance of moving trauma out of the body through breath.
This is an inspiring, cozy, and connected conversation with actionable takeaways for you to live and embody your Truest for Creative Life, today. Let’s go!

Ashley Rae Alvarez, owner and designer behind Raebird—a hand forged line of jewelry—shares the in's and out's of running her Creative Business. Ashley's story is one of high self-belief and of going against the grain of what the people around her believed was possible.
She talks about her years in the coast guard and how she used the GI Bill to pay for design school which quickly lead her to falling in love with the first Metalsmithing class she took. This breadcrumb effect takes her all the way to living in North Idaho, creating gorgeous hand forged jewelry in the mountains, and starting a business out of nothing.
She talks about the hardships, too. The self-doubt, fear and imposter syndrome that comes along with any creative small business. We dig deep into her divorce and conscious uncoupling that happened back in 2017 followed by her move cross country to be with the love of her life.
This episode is for anyone looking to live a more Creative Life and who's just needing that extra push into the beauty of the unknown...

In today's solo episode Dani takes you back to the very beginning where her relationship to money began, in utero. She invites us all to look at the beliefs we picked up when we were young closely and with compassion. This is a candid story of pain and shame around money, one that eventually moves into a place of grounded peace and empowerment.
You'll go on a journey through her adolescent years of stealing, getting scolded by a police officer, and continuing to steal even more; a painful pattern that eventually became a deep family wound that has since (thankfully) healed. She talks about the moment when she started to see her dysfunctional patterning and began navigating where it came from. She talks about her first healthy financial decision and the ripply effect that has had on her relationship to money (and love) today.
She talks about the lightbulb moment she had around the connection to money and her relationship; the deep rooted fear that it will all just go away. You will walk away with actionable steps on how you can completely shift your relationship with money, your relationships, and ultimately, yourself.
If you've ever felt hopeless, ashamed, and messy in your relationship with money, this episode is for you. Because if she can come to a place of higher self-worth and peace with money, she believes anybody can, all just by doing a little bit of digging.

In today’s solo episode, Dani talks about punching herself in the face, about being a suicidal yoga teacher, and about punching herself in the face and then going to teach a yoga class, like yuh do! But really, Dani talks candidly about her experiences with suicidal thoughts during some of the hardest of times and she’s also found ways to weave humor into the more challenging parts of being a human.
(NOTE. This episode is not turning something as painful as suicide into a joke. Suicide is NOT funny as so many of us have lost people we love because of it. Any of the humor inside of this episode is because of Dani’s experience and her’s alone with suicidal thoughts. So again, suicide is NOT funny. Being a human is though.)
Dani also shares healing modalities that she found incredibly supportive during these times; practicing yoga + teaching yoga being number 1! She talks about the importance of creating a support system of people who you love and trust and who you can open up to about what you are experiencing.
Her intention with this episode is to leave you feeling less alone in the lowest of lows that so many of us experience but never talk about.
Without further ado, let’s move on to the show!
