Katherine Nasol is an organizer, scholar-activist, and educator dedicated to racial, gender, and economic justice. Her mission is to use storytelling, libratory education, & community-centered research to transform policies and build people power.

She is a PhD Student in the University of California, Davis Cultural Studies Graduate Group where she studies racial capitalism, migration, and policy. Her work includes policy reports on human rights issues in South Africa and Hong Kong, community-centered research projects with trafficked migrant workers & displaced communities, and campaigns for tenant & workers rights in the Bay Area. Her mission stems from her dedication to women of color, LGBTQIA+ communities, & immigrant workers and their families. She is a founding member and Policy Director of the Bulosan Center for Filipinx Studies and is a UC Davis Mellon Public Scholar.
