Isabella Verdugo is a life-long learner, and the first engineer in her family. She has 4 years of experience designing & manufacturing off-roading vehicles (ATV’s) and 2 years of experience designing prototypes and solutions for the Aluminum Industry. Due to the climate crisis the world is facing, she desired to make a positive impact with her engineering career and now works at McKinstry as a Mechanical Engineer. She designs the mechanical systems for Net Zero Energy buildings and Eco-Districts. Her company also specializes in Net Zero Carbon Buildings as well. Outside of work, she always enjoys hobbies that involve creation, whether it is cooking, baking, painting, gardening, or building something out of metal, clay or wood. She loves service and helping her community in Portland, Oregon. Since COVID-19, she has been reading more books than ever before in her life. She is a proud Gonzaga University Alum 19’
