In this podcast we take a deeper dive into the life and ministries of The Chapel Effingham. We discuss the process of developing the weekly message and nuances of the message and text that time does not allow for on Sunday mornings. We are closing the doors to our church building this week to see e the community around us. We discuss the importance of serving others in this episode.

When you hear "serve" what comes to mind? What are some practical ways you can serve others around you?
What would it look like to "sacrificially serve" others? What are you willing to give up for others? What are you not willing to give up to serve others?
Do you equate deacon/minister to servant? What would it look like to begin to look at those people with that title as a servant?What would it look like for people with that title to see themselves as a servant?
Do you see yourself as a minister? Why or why not?
Do you serve all people or only certain people?
Do you serve from the heart or for other reasons (obligation, recognition, etc.)
Do you think others serve from the heart or for other reasons?

There is imagery of our faith as a walk or a journey. Does that help you in your view of living out your faith? Does this give you hope during your short comings? How does this image allow you to help others in their walk?
We are sanctified by our salvation (positional/past). How can we work on our present/progressive sanctification? What are the spiritual practices that you are doing regularly to help your walk?
How can you help others in their walk? What spiritual practices are you doing regularly that will help you to help others?
In verse 11 - we are called to live a quiet live, but that does not mean a silent life. How can you live out your life quietly so that others will hear the Gospel?
