This was a quote used by Vince when addressing his team starting training camp. Think about how simple that is, but can also be soething that may be overlooked. Prep starts with the smallest things that could be things that become second nature. What happens when you become numb to the fact of a simple act? You may end up missing out on opportunities as you start to lose your edge. It's not always the fun work, but the work is what creates your foundation that needs to revisited to ensure that the prep work is still meeting teh needs of today's demands.
