This week on 7th Fire Pod, Claire and Evan sat down with the one and only, might we say ICONIC, Scott Wabano.

2Spirit Eeyou, SCOTT WABANO grew up spending their adolescence amongst the isolated Indigenous communities along the coast of James Bay. Scott struggled with their identity growing up and often found comfort and escapism from his difficult life in fashion and pop culture magazines. Often reflecting on why he did not see any Indigenous representation, this resulted in a passion for Scott to change that. After high school, Scott made the difficult decision to leave their home community to pursue their goals within fashion and create safe spaces for 2Spirit/IndigiQueer Youth in urban settings.
