As the sun was setting on Grove Hill, the energy and electricity was just getting started inside the Harrigan Sports Complex on the campus of Clarke Prep. The Gators were taking on the Class AA West Region perennial power Escambia Academy. The Gator Nation was ready, the home stands were packed and the crowd was loud and proud. On the field, Trace Phillips ran for 143 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries as Clarke Prep defeated the Escambia Cougars 49- 20. Conner Bumpers had two touchdown passes and also had 11 carries for 90 yards and two rushing touchdowns....
