William Virgil (Bill) “Mountain Man” Sheffield of Pine Hill died Sept. 8, 2022 at his home. He was born July 3, 1938 in Selma to Virgil and Mary Sheffield. He was a former pipe fitter and cattleman and was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Leah (Boozie) Grant, and stepdaughter, Jennifer Paul Jones.
