Charles Raymond Autrey, 85, of Sunny South passed away at home, peacefully, of natural causes on Monday, Sept. 19, 2022 surrounded by family. Known as “Charles, Raymond”, “CR”, “Sorghum”, “Uncle Bud”, “Pawpaw”, or just “Dad”, he was born on Sept. 18, 1937 to Levy and Odessa Autrey at the Woods House in Sunny South. After graduating Pine Hill High School, he went on to work in several fields before being drafted to the Army. Once his service was done he came back home.
