Thomasville fireman Charlie Dixon helped Smokey the Bear teach youngsters about fire safety during Fire Prevention Week last week. Firemen visited a number of day cares and schools and connected with nearly 400 youngsters. Stops included the Educational Day Care, 55 youngsters; Busy Bee Day Care, 42; Pineview Baptist Day Care, 35; and Thomasville Elementary, a huge 250 turnout! See more photographs inside.
