35 years agoOctober 29, 1987 Thomasville City Schools may lose their accreditation by the state and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The City School Board was warned several times over the past years that they had to correct the system of having the superintendent serve as the principal of each of the three schools. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools issued an ultimatum recently to the Thomasville school system to change or lose their accreditation by November 17.
