Carolyn Jackson Colburn, 94, of Pine Hill, died Jan. 30, 2023 at her home. She was born July 6, 1928 in Pine Hill to Edd Lee and Minnie Burge Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she was treasurer and secretary for 52 years. She also taught the youth and was a pianist for 30 years or longer. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Fred “Jim” Colburn Sr.; three children, William Dallas Colburn, Virginia Allen Colburn, and Eddie Byron Colburn; her parents; and her in-laws, Byron and Virginia Lightfoot Colburn....
