A missing elderly Thomasville man was found safe last Friday, Jan. 27 after being missing for four days. George Cowan, 83, was last seen in his green pickup in the Nicholsville area Jan. 24. He was found on a dirt road in Coy, in Wilcox County, on Friday. He had run out of gas. He was checked out at a health facility and deemed to be OK.
