Doris Mae Champion, 88, of Thomasville died Jan. 12, 2023 at Covenant Care Hospice at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. She was born May 18, 1934 in Clarke County to Allen Eli and Vera Tucker. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Champion (Scottie) Hayes; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services were Jan. 16, 2023 at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Don Stephens officiating and O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directing.
