The Dravitan Club is remembering a Thomasville black historian for her large role played in advocating black history. Jimmie Rose Bryant was known as a cheerful, extraordinary, energetic, beloved contributor to the area. She maintained a focus on educating on Black Heritage achievements and nonbiased way of advocating for the rights of all people. Bryant passed away 2021 but her memory resounds in the hearts of the Thomasville community. She served as a teacher and assistant principal at Thomasville High School for more than 40 years.
