The federal court sentencing of former Clarke County Sheriff Ray Norris has been postponed for the second time. Norris was scheduled to be sentenced Monday, Feb. 27 by Chief U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Beaverstock in the federal courthouse in Mobile. Norris pleaded guilty last fall to one count of using bank loan funds for purposes not specified on the loan. Gordon G. Armstrong III, Norris’ attorney, filed a motion for a postponement Feb. 16.
