It happens every year, it seems. Just as flowers and trees start to bloom for the spring, a cold snap hits. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, it was down in the mid-30s but hopefully not cold enough to harm flowering blooms such as these. The azalea photo was made with Lake Wood in the background in Thomasville. Lows will be in the mid to upper 30s, into the 40s through this week and back into the 30s by the first of the week. Regardless of the temps, Monday, March 20 is the first day of spring!
