A team from the Children’s of Alabama Community Healthcare Education Simulation (COACHES) Program was at Thomasville Regional Medical Center March 22 to help train personnel and others on how to care for an acutely ill child that may come into the ER or be in the hospital. The team brought a state-of-the-art child mannequin and equipment and worked with the staff through several realistic pediatric scenarios that they might encounter in the hospital.
