Jimmy “Honey” Powell Sr., 72, a lifelong native of Dickinson made his transition on Sunday, Feb. 19, from his ultimate comfort location— home. Powell is the son of the late Joe and Ruby Lee Powell. Jimmy was a smart, funny, serious, reliable, and respected family man. A Jack-of-all-trades, Jimmy’s hobbies included hosting outdoor cookouts for family and friends; metallurgy; hunting; boating; and brim fishing.
