Nell Jackson, 85, of Thomasville died March 28, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Grove Hill. She was born Jan. 26, 1938 in Grove Hill to William Sidney and Ethel May Gates. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert L. Jackson; sons, Billy Ray Williamson and Tim Jackson and her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Avritt, Dara (John) Whitney, Sonja (Bill) Jordan, Vanessa Borsage; sons, Heustis (Janis) Avritt Jr. and George (Tina) Hayes; brother, David Williamson; 20 grandchildren, 43 greatgrandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren.
