Springfield Methodist Protestant Church will host their annual Plant and Bake Sale May 6, in Sandflat. This year, the church is adding vintage jewelry to the sale. Proceeds will benefit the Alpha Women’s Resource Center in Jackson. A Mother/Son Dance will be hosted May 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Thomasville Elementary School Gym.
