If you are interested, here is what is rattling around in my mind and heart this morning. Yesterday Peggy and I requested that Nicholsville Baptist Church accept us as members of their congregation and our request was approved unanimously. I should have taken care of this detail on my first Sunday as their pastor but I failed to do so and I felt the need to correct that oversight. It stands to reason that the pastor of a church would of a certainty need to be a member of that particular body of Christ. Do you remember the church covenant?...
