Earnest Alden Springfield, 95, of Thomasville died May 18, 2023 at Crown Health Care of Thomasville. He was born Nov. 1, 1927 in Gordo to Thomas Alden and Sarah Jane Springfield. He retired after 40 years with Alabama Power Company and was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Frances Maedelle Springfield; son, Alden Lewis (Pat) Springfield; daughter, Linda Springfield (Randy) Vick; four grandchildren, Amy Vick Cates, Joshua Vick, Ryan Springfield and Holley Springfield; and five great-grandchildren, Avery Vick, Eva Springfield, Easton Springfield, Anna Leigh Vick, and Davis Vick.
