Motorists traveling Highway 5 between Thomasville and Pine Hill have gotten accustomed since the first of the year to having to detour because of the new Moccasin Creek bridge being built in Pine Hill. Most locals use the Wilcox County road from Sunny South to Pine Hill but the “official” detour is via Highway 25 and Highway 10.
